An original twenty minute long emotional, comedic, and endearing piece exploring the trap of nihilism one can fall into if they don't appreciate the world and people around them. A broken family of three purchase The Mirror, a new device that allows a peek into alternate universes and a conversation with the alternate dimension version of yourself, which creates even larger cracks in the foundation of their love. Inspired by the multi award winning film, 'Everything, Everywhere, All At Once', 'It Was Beautiful' is a journey of finding universes within yourself and the love from other people, because it's almost always enough.
If you had the means to peer into every parallel universe, would you take a look? Endless possibilities of alternate realities offer other versions of yourself with stories to tell. To see these other worlds, what would you be willing to risk?
