Silhouette of the Dark is an hour long comedic and unsettling post-dramatic performance created and performed by The [UNTITLED Theatre Company], focussing on fears and phobias in which the only lighting used was that of torches held by the audience - a cause for bated breath for those afraid of the dark.
This piece includes nods to the company's members' real life phobias as well as inspiration from over 90 different phobias, and inspiration from pieces such as Forced Entertainment’s 'Bloody Mess', Matthew Dunster's '2:22 A Ghost Story'. 'Silhouette of The Dark' is unpredictable with its absurdity and aims to shed light on less common phobias and send the message that it is okay to be scared of the strangest things, fear is valid in every shape and size.

'One for the dark, two for the light. Three for a fear, four for a fright. Five for a memory, six for neglect, seven for the person you wish to forget.
Eight for pain, nine for Hell, ten for the darkness, I hope it treats you well. Blessed are the people who know to be scared of the dark.'
